Starting therapy can feel daunting, but it doesn't have to be. Our work together is about creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore what's happening for you, at your own pace. You are always in control, and I will be there to guide you gently throughout.

We’ll have a chat, about half an hour long, so that I can understand what brings you make contact, and also to see if you feel that I'm the right fit for you.

This would be totally confidential between us two.

Any conversations or sessions, or notes, will not be discussed by me or Good Life Therapy outside of our conversation, and any subsequent session/s.

A Second Conversation - as part of the Therapy process

 

If you decide you’d like to proceed with us, we would then have a second conversation after a few days where I would take down more concise notes. This helps us to find out some of the ways your current beliefs or issues are affecting your behaviour, and go slightly more deeper into what I would call the presenting issues.

Further into the Therapy process

 

A session would typically last around an hour, either in person in the South East England or, more typically, online. The vast majority of my sessions have been conducted online and have been extremely successful. It means that clients may prefer the comfort and relaxation in their own homes/spaces. Using hypnotherapy and other techniques - such as CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and NLP (neuro linguistic programming), we work together to release and transform what no longer works for you into a new way of thinking about yourself, and those limiting beliefs.

With a background in mentoring children and adults, people management and mental health ‘first aid’, I love helping people achieve peace, joy and confidence in their lives. Helping them to live a Good Life.

Based in East Sussex, UK, I offer transformational therapy either in the comfort of your own home via online Zoom sessions, or in person if you would prefer. Online sessions mean that you can be comfortable and relaxed in your own space and familiar surroundings. I am a mental health first-aider, a Certified Hypnotherapist, and am also a Certified Transformational Therapist under the tutelage of Marisa Peer, the founder of RTT®.

Carol is based in East Sussex and has clients in the UK as well around the world - from Kent to Dubai. She has been mentoring adults and young professionals for 12 years and is a certified hypnotherapist, and a certified transformational therapist under the tutelage of multi award-winning Marisa Peer and her RTT® school.   • Stress can be debilitating. There are gentle ways of coping with stress and digging down to the root cause of why certain situations increase the stress felt. I have personally suffered and this treatment certainly helped me to lead a better life - a good life.


  • Anxiety can manifest in many ways, and sometimes the most outwardly confident people get anxious walking into a room of strangers, or giving a presentation. Together we’ll find out how your anxiety started and how it presents itself, and then we work together to change your anxiety beliefs.

  • Depression can sometimes be a dark place, but working together we can gently explore your thoughts and beliefs and find a way forward for you to lead a better life.

  • Lack of confidence can manifest in many ways - sometimes just the thought of getting on to a stage, giving a presentation or walking into a busy room can sometimes make you feel a nervous and a little dizzy. We can work together to re-frame those beliefs and get you out there brimming with confidence.

  • You probably feel as if every diet you’ve tried over, sometimes many, years has failed. Together we would work together to find out what forms the basis of the beliefs about yourself. And then we move to change those beliefs and help you find the you that you want to be.

  • Addictions are common - drinking, smoking, vaping, chocolate, and more besides. We will carefully explore and reform your ideas, thoughts, beliefs to get to the reason your clever mind has decided to intervene to ‘help’ you by giving you an addition and then, of course, re-frame those beliefs to enable you to lead a good life.

  • Clients that Carol has worked with have had fears of flying, arachnophobia, agoraphobia, and even fears surrounding money and wealth creation.
